Loch Morar

It’s blowing a hoolie today with gusts to 50mph so we headed inland slightly to what we hoped would be a walk along a sheltered track. Mostly, it was. The sun even attempted to come out and we stayed dry. White horses were galloping along the surface of the water with a giant vortex of water spinning out and across the loch towards us. The backdrop of hills was stunning and wild.

We all had a good stretch of the legs and after lunch back on the coast, headed to an old wild woodland garden of Larachmhor for another potter before heading back home. Rich couldn’t resist a short walk on the beach when we got back but I needed a cuppa and Little Dog a nap.
