Drab old day. Nothing much to report. Jobs all morning and part of the afternoon. We did manage to scoot out for a walk as the last of what passed for light today was fading away. We passed Mote House, former home of Lord Cornwallis who gave Mote Park to Maidstone in the 1920s. The house became a Cheshire Home now it has been converted to retirement apartments.
