The Pits

RoboRally - a classic modern boardgame from last century.  You 'program' your robot intending to steer through a factory floor littered with hazards.  Very silly and great fun.

There are turntables, conveyor belts, lasers, walls, and pits.  You are not supposed to fall into pits.  You are really not supposed to drive into pits.

And you are really, really not supposed to do it three times in rapid succession...
