Gate

I have chosen this today as photographers think and open gate is better than a closed one.  This one has to be open as it won't fit the gap.  As a gate is meant to keep things in (sheep) that seems to be the best answer.  An open gate does allow the viewer into the photograph.. The jury 's out, so I'll let you decide!
This one I took last week walking the Stonethwaite valley before entering Langstrath Valley on the right, below Eagle Crag.  Most of the sunlight is on Greenup Edge, but there is some to the centre and to the right.  Langstrath is below the sun to the right.  Not cold.  Very pleasant and a good walk although ice was evident.  Worth the visit.
