Mushroom

I just noticed this fabulous looking mushroom growing about eight feet up on the bark of a large maple tree on the edge of our driveway. The tree is in the middle of dying. A large piece of it broke off and fell a year or so ago and we keep expecting more to follow. Fortunately it tilts downhill away from the driveway, so it shouldn't be a major problem when it totally keels over. I sort of held my phone up over my head to try to get this shot.
