Asha's new obsession

The kids and I were up and out early to walk to school... We heard before we left that Danny was on flight 1 of 2 and on his way home, finally!!
He made it back here by late morning...tired but in 1 piece, except for the achilles. Looks like it's a partial rupture. We also discovered the car wouldn't start (flat battery??) so we had to hot foot it to school. Both kids were utterly delighted to see Daddy and flung themselves at him.
Prison for Danny (though we cancelled afternoon team meeting) & grapefruit for Asha, which she's currently absolutely loving! Sadly we've finished the humungous ones from Julia and Toni's garden.
More bananagrams when Danny got home...and general enjoyment at being a 4 again.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny being home safely.
2) The kids delight at being a 4 again.
3) Fresh hot baguette.
