A spark of brightness ..

in the gloom!

Another horrible day.
Back to Pilates this morning and then the garden centre in the next village for lunch with my friend. The first time she’s been since her hip replacement and house move before Christmas.

I’ve been looking out for flowers on the Witch Hazels (hamamelis). These have sometimes been flowering before Christmas but despite the mild weather they seem to be taking their time this year. No flowers yet on the red one.

Off to the opticians shortly and then I’ll be happy to stay in for the rest of the evening.
