A new visitor

I think this is a yellowhammer, he is new to my garden and I was thrilled to see him feeding on the lawn with the chaffinches. I spotted him a long way off because he is so striking and cheerfully coloured and I was glad that he stayed there long enough for me to get a shot or two.

I'm starting to get really fed up with all these showers - put your washing out, get your washing in and shake it all about, grrrr! But I suppose it could be worse, at least it's not snowing :-))
