GO

A patient booked for an appointment this morning had 'forgotten', and then told her keyworker that she didn't want to come again because the new antidepressant was so much better than the old one, and she doesn't need me to tell her that.

So I started reading a very long paper on all the things that lithium does. It isn't a recent paper, so some of the things that the author speculates about have been confirmed; and others not.

There came a noise of heavy machinery outside my office window. Trundling down the road was a massive digger cum crane. Twice the size of a tank. The driver had an amazingly delicate touch, as he manoeuvred into a very narrow space, picked up a large container and repositioned it before heading back up the road to where it was meant to be working.
