EAST-JERUSALEM SURROUNDED BY SETTLEMENTS

Today we visit Al-Maqdese, and here is Anas Abdeen showing us how East-Jerusalem has been divided into small territories by walls, check-points, settlements and apartheid-roads.

Norwegian Union of Municipal and General Workers support this organization through Norwegian People's Aid and the project we support is legal help to the palestinians in East-Jerusalem that have had their rights violated by Israeli employers. During 2012 Al-Maqdese provided legal defense for 460 cases and about 162.000 $ in compensations where obtained in court, and nearly 3000 palestinians workers got legal advice.
