Lewis Woodpecker (Melanerpes lewis)

We (Nuthatch) and I went to the Tuccanon River today to find a dipper without luck. We did see a variety of other birds including this Lewis Woodpecker. It also rained a little as you can see in the background. It was a much needed shower the wheat crops are beginning to suffer from the lack of rain.
