Ambushed by Almond Blossom

Walked up the Land with my camera this morning and saw that some of the almond trees on our neighbour's land have blossomed. Looked dreamlike with the mist and his sheep grazing underneath.

Not so dreamy, the Council pickup collecting the traps they've set for the Asiatic wasps, which have invaded Portugal, and are horribly aggressive, especially to bees; they've decimated whole colonies.

Gratefuls:
- progress on clearing and getting ready for Julia and Eden's visit; Mike has made a cot out of cardboard and we've washed the pushchair and the carseat cover
- all the support folk are giving to our friends in Trapiá, where we lived in Brazil, going through a tough trial; have literally spent hours on video calls today
- beauty, always beauty
