Sock dragon

I was given this sock dragon kit for Christmas last year. Finally got around to making it! 

Honestly I'm not amazingly impressed with the result. It was a simple kit to follow but the stitching shows too much and its face is a little weird. Still, it was a fun and different thing to do, and the perfect present to send a friend who has just had a baby.

We're going wassailing again tonight, this time just in my parents' garden. They are always kind enough to give us apples from their trees each year, so this year we thought we'd return the favour and bless their trees at the start of the year.
