Flower windmills?

Today we went to Kew Gardens with the family including the three grandchildren. We went into the children’s playground area which is excellent for ages 2-10 . You have to book in advance so it is never too crowded but today, as it had been raining all morning , it was much emptier than usual which was great…and it was not raining. It is divided into three sections Air, Water,Sun to indicate what plants need to grow, and there are signs describing this. See extra re Air. These ‘windmills’ are in the air section and several were turning quite fast as it was windy today.

The sinkhole, photo posted yesterday, has now had all the fencing removed and the road has reopened which is good. But…tomorrow they are starting to do lots of roadworks , until Easter, to make a cycle lane along the road going into Twickenham. I think  they may be putting ‘wands’ in which will make the road narrower and also get rid of quite a bit or residents parking. I don’t think it’s necessary …a good repaint of the present cycle lane lines and double yellows to stop cars parking in them would be more sensible.
