Resim Heykel Muzesi

The State Art and Sculpture Museum dedicated to fine arts and sculpture in Ankara. This photograph does not in the least do any justice to this magnificent building. Taken late evening after attending a concert of traditional Turkish music, we still had to get into the centre of town for our evening meal so it was definitely a quick point and shoot.

The official day one of the study visit was a bit of a whirl of presentations from all participants about their own country's vocational training organisations and work with schools and employers. With participants from Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Iceland, Croatia, Rumania, England, Czech Republic, Poland, Itlay and Turkey, it's a veritable melting pot of nations.

We have to select a reporter to prepare a group report in the working language of the group which is, of course not Turkish, but English. That'll be me then...
