Bramham House - Redevelopment

After years of lying derelict and being the target of repeated arson and vandalism - Bramham House is beginning a new journey. Leeds City Council finally sold the site - which included the former Bramham Ambulance Station - to developers. The planning process was protracted and acrimonious - with vociferous objections from the immediate neighbours.

It is Grade II listed which limits the redevelopment potential….the plan was / is to retain as much of the main structure as possible before converting to flats - new properties are to be built in the grounds surrounding the house.

As you can see it is in a very sorry state - I would loved to have got a bit closer - trespassing as I was - but the ground was very boggy and there is a sheer drop just in front of where I stood.
I did blip a view from the front in 2014…that entry contains a potted history of the house.

It has been disused since mid 1980s.
