Wet World

I went for a walk in the early afternoon, after it stopped raining and the sun came out. But I hadn’t quite realized how much the wind had picked up, and how cold it had become, so my walk wasn’t a long one.

Most roads have turned into little rivers from all the rain, and the fields are completely waterlogged (see extra). The main blip shows the vineyards around our part of the Rheinsteig walking trail, with last week’s hut and picnic table in the middle distance.

My main job today: Taxiing my mother’s carers, to and from the bus station in town to her house in the hills. Maria has now left us, and E is back. For my mother, these days are always confusing and stressful, but she will soon forget all about it.
