Washing Day in Budva, Montenegro

Our guide/car we hired picked up us from our apartment in Dubrovnik at 7.30am. We then drove to Montenegro, stopping at various places to take photos. Lots of them. 12gb worth. The Mistress has noticed she only has 120gb left on this computer and is now worried she'll run out of space.

Once through the border we stopped to see roman mosaics, old abandoned buildings which nature was fast taking over, beautiful little bays, a little monastery, the Herceg Novi church, the two churches in the middle of the bay, Kotor Old town, Sveti Stefan - an island old town village now in private hands and you can only visit if you're prepared to stay there for 100 euros a night or more, and finally the old town of Budva, a walled town where I took this image.

Blipping was difficult - as there were just too many images to choose from. The colour of the water of the sea was an amazing turquoise blue, old buildings, street scenes, stray cats, friendly dogs, an amazing black and yellow moth. But the washing won tonight!

A day in Dubrovnik again tomorrow!
