A Spot of Fishing

Today twelve members of the walking group parked at Shortcut Road, and walked down the Clutha River on a beautiful sunny day, +27C.  I am sure that this guy was enjoying a spot of fishing.  The extra photo is of The Boss from Tussock Tales, and our oldest member (89), walking through the wild flowers.  Was pleased there was quite a bit of shade under the Pine trees and Willows by the River.

We stopped for a welcome Strawberry ice cream at the Strawberry Fields near Luggate.  Just the icing on the cake!  Over 11K steps, or just over 7 kms.  Quite enough for one day.
