White stuff.

Today it was 'bright as a button and colder too.  Overnight snow had fallen on the Fells resulting in views like this one of Wasdale, taken from Greendale, road junction.  For those of you who know of the cartoon, 'Postman Pat,' it is a different Greendale.  More snow is promised for the north, arriving on northerly winds from Scotland.  We'll have to wait and see.  I have photograph this view many times from when I was a child starting with a 'Kodak Brownie.'   One of my Blip friends, and maybe yours too, has this view accompanied with his name: Trevor Earthy.  Afterall it was chosen as Britain's best view a few years back.  The central mountain is Great Gable, the white one to the left is Kirkfell and the darker one to the right is Lingmell and this would lead on to Scafell and Scafell Pike.
