Monday: Billy Barquedier

It was a public holiday day, George Price Day.  George Price was the Belizean Prime Minister who took Belize to independence in 1981.

We drove down to Billy Barquedier National Park and hiked along to the waterfall.  There was a fair bit of rock scrambling so we felt very hardy and physically self-righteous at the end of it.  It was beautiful, very quiet, warm and jungly.

Pool time in the afternoon.  A wonderfully relaxing day.

This evening we watched ‘Bros’, which we all enjoyed.  Finally, a film about a gay relationship in which both parties are still alive at the end of it.
