This is a screen shot from the SkyView app. I only have the Lite version and it’s fabulous. You just point your phone at the sky and it tells you which constellation you’re looking at. If you tap on a star or planet it tells you it’s name. Yes that is Mars top right.

I was a leading night nav in Panshanger Park, for MTA this time. (A first with MTA for me) I was well prepared, it was cold but not raining and It went really really well. Adults listen better than Explorers! Lots of good networking happened too, we listened to owls, saw two foxes and did a little star gazing. All in all a very successful evening.
