Greenery!

After a couple of days of beautiful sunshine I went to check on the growing room/greenhouse. The seedlings are surviving really well and I'm hopeful they will be good to grow outside once we get some much warmer weather in Spring. My strawberry plants and new runners also seem to be surviving well in there. 
This afternoon was matting, or should have been! When I got to the hall where we meet there was no heating on and it was far too cold to sit and mat. One of the 'matters' brought cakes so we all dispatched to her farmhouse, a few villages down the Dale. We sat in her warm kitchen ate the cakes, drank lots of cuppas and enjoyed plenty of chatter! An impromptu afternoon but really lovely. It's good to have friends.
