Forgotten!

What a lovely surprise I got today when I was bemoaning the fact that I never buy cake and The Man said "You've got a big box full of it!"

When we were in Edinburgh at Christmas we had been eating Kat's cake rather than cutting into the one she made for us. She sent us home with a lot of goodies and the cake got put in the out-of-the-way place I keep the empty box.

I had intended to save it for my birthday but we went out for that. It's late now so I'm not going to cut it but it smells wonderful. I couldn't resist making it a journal entry.
