Ducks on Ice

Today when I started feeding the goose at the pond it was rather quiet - then there was a loud honking and what I assume is our usual goose came rushing over. The first goose backed off so I threw some food her way as well as feeding the new arrival. My guess is that they are male and female and we usually see just the male.

The pond was partly frozen so the ducks were keen for the food and it was a bit of a scrum for them. 

The sun was out which was lovely.

Later I have my German/English chat and a grocery delivery. Living the high life here!
