Strava Day 597.

B got called late last night to a family-related emergency in a town three hours away from ours. He has not really said anything yet about what happened and am doing my best to stay calm.  T says he is worried (and if am being honest, I am too) however as they say, worrying is like a rocking chair, it keeps you busy but it gets you nowhere.  Will still do the Sunday yoga routine and attach self-timed shots within the day.

Featured photo is an experiment. It is an in-camera double exposure. Color has been adjusted via Photoscape X. In the extras are photos which were part of said experiment. This is inspired by the Blipfoto Community’s “Derelict Sunday” wherein the image shows one of our wall clocks which has not been used for years but remains hanging on one of our walls. Offered to replace the battery last time but my father (Gramps) says it will no longer work even with new batteries so it remains a décor.

Title is German for “time” and the quote at the beginning is one of the stand out quotes from Netflix’s Partner Track apart from the exchange between Ingrid and Nick (characters in the series) about “most people” and googling each other. Had no idea that the series was based off a 2013 book by Helen Wan until today.

If am able to accomplish some goals on my plate today, will definitely reward myself with at least one full episode of said series. Apart from movement, hydration and sleep, escapism (via  a book or movie) is still therapeutic especially on Sundays.
