On the rocks

On Seven Mile Beach this afternoon, these humans tried to persuade their dog to join them in the water. It refused, much preferring to stay on the rocks. It was more agile on the rocks than the humans. Its reluctance to enter the water might have been because it was unsure how it would eventually get out. Cautious and sensible.
