The first (of many) hummers

For some reason I forgot to take any photographs yesterday - or if I did I cant find them - we arrived safely and transferred to our first stop up in the mountains - the San Gerardo Valley, an outstanding place where the chef was first class - best food of the trip probably, with functional but basic cabanas.
Up early and out getting our first view of some of the many hummingbirds that abound here in Costa Rica.
