Up a higher mountain

We drove up a mountain and then walked through the mizzle to an area where wild avocados grow and quetzal come to feed.  We were very lucky to see both the male and female at this site.
In the extra a youngster came out to eat its avocado - and promptly dropped it!
You can see just how fertile the area is - everything has some other thing growing on it! Bromeliads of all sorts abound.  Put a stick in the ground and probably within a few weeks a leaf will appear.
