The building of the fort
The arrival of various storms has had at least one benefit for those of us still mobile enough to get out into the world. And, of course, Ottawacker Jr. is taking full advantage of it.
So, into the garden he has gone, with the prime aim of building a snow fort in which, should my suspicions be correct, he can either spend the night (not going to happen, no way) or ambush any passing neighbour children (more likely but, honestly, not that likely). Our biweekly paper recycling bin, the contents of which have been deposited on the floor of the back deck, is enjoying its new life as a mould for snow bricks.
