Hatched!!

Our grandson finally "hatched" safely yesterday afternoon, too late to be announced in yesterday's blip. So he took after his Dad being exactly 10 days late.

So far we've only seen him in photos as they're staying in the hospital while he recovers from the process, but he's absolutely gorgeous (not that we're biased of course...!)   ;-))

So naturally we're still in charge of his "big sister" (Granddog Oona)...it'll be interesting to see what she makes of him when he comes home. On our walk with her this morning we passed the local ice rink where a game of ice hockey was in progress - although it was behind a wire mesh fence I managed to get a few shots. The extra is a bit like a "spot the ball (or the puck)" shot - I'm not really sure exactly where it was at that moment.
