Silly Cow!

My Editor would like a little knitting project while we're staying in Toronto, so we Googled wool shops and found one within walking distance: we could have taken a tram for quickness but it seemed sensible to take Oona for a walk there & back.

On the way we passed this silly cow above an ice cream parlour so we reckoned it would be a suitable Silly Saturday blip (there's no Silly Saturday host this week as it's not the first Saturday of the month but that doesn't matter).

I looked it up and found this on their website: "Dutch Dreams was created by the Aben family in the 1980’s, based on a childhood dream. Dutch Dreams is fashioned in the Dutch style to pay homage to the Aben family heritage. We are proud to be recognized as a go-to Toronto destination for tourists, celebrities, kids, and adults alike." We did see some folk enjoying their produce but we decided that it was a bit silly to have ice cream on such a chilly day so we didn't try it ourselves.

We're not quite sure where Olive Oyl fits in with an ice cream parlour so that seemed a bit silly too. Maybe in the summer the scroll she holds up has an ice cream menu on it?
