Memory and Loss

In the walled kitchen garden at Cannon Hall, where ancient espalier pear trees clad the walls, there is a new feature, which I think must have been erected very recently.  My mum and dad both loved coming here and had been doing so for years, probably a 30 mile round trip.  I need to make some enquiries and find out how to add a pear for them.

I was there for lunch with GG and we spotted this as we walked round the garden.  We also took ice photos, or the remains of ice photos, in the ornamental pond which I’ll add as an extra.  Very different to the ones I took at Worsbrough Dam on Sunday.
