A Day In The Life

Deer Path

Here’s one of the paths two dear deer cut through the fresh snow last night. It measured 16.5” deep. They must have enjoyed having the whole place to themselves, nonchalantly wandering about, emptying every seed feeder with long pink tongues, before retreating to quiet woods • After I took this photo I followed in their exact steps to shovel a path to the buffet table then beyond to the cherry tree. I will fill those empty feeders soon plus add carrot pieces and seed to the buffet table for another visit tonight • Today was all about shoveling. After a hearty breakfast MrsP and I grabbed our scoops and cleared away lots of snow. Thankfully our driveway is plowed but we have walkways, patios, deck, and paths that also need attention. Tomorrow is the roof! • Stay cozy and enjoy your evening!
