Clutter

Sorting the room for the new carpet yesterday made me aware of how much clutter I have! This is just a very small section, the pink corner. The picture is a piece silk painting from Kenya enclosed in glass. There are three little perfume bottles. The blue and green piece of glass I bought on the day we dropped son Jeremy at Heathrow on his way on a gap year to Australia . I was unhappy at him going, very worried about how the trip would work out. The piece of glass was a consolation prize. There is a brass N, for Norman, a soapstone fish also from Kenya, a finely embroidered pin cushion and a tiny brass duck. As I said, a lot of clutter, but all little treasures, too important to pass on.
