Choice

I wonder if anybody ever takes a book to read from these shelves in the pub where N and I had lunch today. We certainly didn’t, we were too busy enjoying our meal. We both chose venison pie, and they were huge portions, but delicious.
We were out in the country to the south of Surrey and we came back through country lanes that were new to us. The lanes are all very similar, lined with hedges interspersed with lone oak trees. It was so good to get out and about.
