Almost Finished

The Mercure Hotel in Paignton has been under construction since before lockdown. The original builders went into liquidation but their replacement has cracked on and it is almost finished. I walked past it today on the seafront. I think my photo makes it look
like an artist’s impression. Now they will turn their attention to the half finished hotel next door. They are both owned by the Fragrance Group who seem to be playing an extravagant game of Monopoly.
