Ode Tae a Haggis

First meeting of the year at WI tonight and we had a Burns Supper…I think it’s the first time I’ve been to one. No flaming haggis or toasts and the only alcohol was in the trifle, so a fairly subdued affair!! Our speaker after was very good too.

Otherwise a day of chores until it was time to pick the wee one up from nursery. We took a trip to the garden centre for a look around…the only thing I bought was a book for him. We did treat ourselves to a drink and a chocolate chip muffin (see extra).
