“Shelter in Place”

That’s what I call this little painting. I did it for a sweet young friend who loves turtles.. This is from a photo I took during the pandemic. This young friend is one of most thoughtful, most intentionally kind people I know.. She grew up with jessica. She loved Matt and the kiddos like family. I enjoyed painting this as a surprise for her. I used INKTENSE pencils and. ink pans on watercolor paper.
We had a good day today. Root canal was “almost” successful.It was not painful at all but very calcified. He will complete it in 2 weeks. Now I’ve chipped the tooth between the 2 he did root canals on! You just gotta laugh. I have to see about it tomorrow. Johnny has developed chest congestion. Ever feel like you are being tested? :—) It could always be worse. I’m not in pain yet and his breathing treatments seem to be helping. That’s a blessing!!
