Black headed gull

A beautiful sunny day today for a walk round the Loch. There is still a fair bit of ice despite the mild temperatures at the beginning of the week.
The pair of adult swans were there with some mallards, a couple of moorhens and this black headed gull (black head only in summer), I do like the little feather stuck on its beak that twinkles in the sun! Further round there was a small group of four or five teal but they were in a dark shaded area so no decent shots.
