IT'S JOLLY CHILLY IN HERE!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

You all know how we like to be helpful, so when we heard Mrs. HCB say that she wanted to defrost their big freezer today, Leighton, Snowy, Yosef and I were really up for it - we are quite used to the cold - so we managed to persuade all the others to come and help too.  It's just a shame that Rufus the Reindeer has gone back home, otherwise he would have been up for it too.

Of course, it wasn't that easy, particularly as all the stuff inside had to be taken out - and there was a lot of it - then we needed to scrape down all the inside because it was thick with ice.  We know it's one of those jobs that needs doing, but never seems to get done - but I'm sure lots of you reading this don't leave yours as long as the HCBs!  Mr. HCB is a very good scraper though and with us all helping him, the job was soon done.

It was quite a big job but because we were so helpful, it got done in record time - and this is a shot that Mrs. HCB took while we were all helping in our various ways, some more than others, I must say and of course, Mrs. HCB kept her eye on us all, including Mr. HCB!

We realise that for some of the Silly Saturday Gang it was difficult and that's true in life isn't it - some jobs are easy to do, some are more difficult and some we would rather not do, but they still need doing so we did this big job with a smile.

We are hoping that Mrs. HCB will make us all a mug of hot chocolate and she might even find some marshmallows to put on the top and of course, there is always the stash of chocolates on the high shelf in the cupboard, which she thinks we don’t know about!

We hope you all have a great day - sadly it is grey and dull today, but we won't let that bother us, we will still try and have some fun together and we know that Admirer would approve of that and she might even have giggled had she seen us scraping ice in the freezer.

Don't forget to be kind to one another during the coming week - life is too short to bear grudges and to be unkind - at least that's what we all think.
