The pair bonding of bullfinches has begun

I watched this pair of bullfinches from our bedroom for more than fifteen minutes before I fetched my camera. They were gradually approaching each other then separating, displaying and snapping at each other with their big beaks. I had to film them through the double glazing but I'm glad I caught them close together.
