Wallflower

A quick visit to the Attention: Vitality exhibition in Bethnal Green. I bumped into fellow photo society member, Alan Larsen. We discussed his image "Wallflower" taken as part of his project documenting one kilometre of the Thames path at Charlton. 

I love these minimalist urban landscapes and Alan is particularly good at capturing the mystique of the dead plant against the wall. Another one that I would probably have just walked past.

We had a good comparing of notes looking at the other entries in the show. Very good they are too.
