Acanthus

After yesterday's walk I wondered how my legs would be but decided to check out a route for taking the running club on on Monday evening in the dark. There's only one place I wasn't quite sure of - and I got it wrong. I know what I should do, but will go back tomorrow afternon to be absolutely sure.
I forgot my camera and it was grey for most of the run but then the sun came out. It did make me keep on running rather than find excuses to stop!
After lunch I spent some time in the garden. It's too early to do much but there were several small jobs I could do and in the process I noticed the fruits of the acanthus. Normally it's fallen over and gone mushy by now but 2 stems are still standing and have seeds.
