Slow Sunday

A very quiet Sunday recovering from enjoying myself yesterday, the joys of fibromyalgia life. That’s without alcohol too as I stuck to Britvic fresh orange juice and Diet Coke due to meds.

Learnt a lot from my hairdresser yesterday re taming my flyaways. I have thick, long, curly hair and have never dyed it. She told me to spray some hairspray into my brush or comb and that would help the effects of my fibromyalgia meds on my hair.

Today’s photo is a cheat - a pic from yesterday of a tapestry fireguard from the pub I met my friend in. 

Fatigue is horrendous today. I have rested, recovered and nodded off most of today. It was worth it though, yesterday was fun!

My extra is a very poor snap of my roast dinner - I prefer Heinz Salad Cream on roast dinners as opposed to gravy - tell me I’m not alone in that haha?

Two other extras - my Mum aged seventeen when she had worked two years at Coats cotton mill in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. The other extra - awful selfie of me without makeup, hair unbrushed! 

Shower tonight all being well, a bit of hair conditioner and a mini pamper if I can find the energy for a Sunday reset. Going to attempt to pluck and tint my eyebrows myself tomorrow.

It came up on my Facebook memories today - I got it back but not sure why tbh! Some people think I resemble my Mum but I don’t see it myself. She left school at fifteen.

Early night for me tonight, after I play catch up with Duolingo German revision and Blip. Day 150 on Duolingo today, a great wee milestone xx
