Pheasant Feathers

Saturday! The weekend. Although we have worked for nearly forty years in our combined home and studios Saturday is very much a special day and different from Monday to Friday.

The days are noticeably longer and the activity of birds is increasing rapidly.

However, some are not so fortunate as today’s Blipfoto shows. The unfortunate Pheasant appeared to be hit in flight by a passing vehicle.

The creature appeared unmarked apart from some ruffled feathers. The photo does show a detail of the feathers and makes an interesting photo.
