Nectria Cinnabarina

I'm going to try pushing at the Mono Monday envelope and suggest this is a mono in shades of orangey brown! Nectria Cinnabarina is a parasitic fungus, and I found it on a dying branch high in one of the trees in the garden. I was of course in the process of reducing the spread of the tree and I brought this section down low... Oh, please yourselves...
