Lock Flood

Pedaling along the canal next to Victoria Park we saw ahead a cascade of water overflowing from a lock. Not sure what had happened to cause the excessively high level but it was an intimidating sight. 

I didn't fancy trying the slope for fear of sliding into the canal. But intrepid Ron gave it a try and survived.
