Catch The Moon

We attended the last John Kitchen Get Organised recital of the season at the Usher Hall, the programme made up of requests from those submitted over the past couple of weeks. We were delighted that John included our request, called Trumpet Rondo, a composition by Graham Morrison, the organist and choirmaster of our last church, who died sixteen years ago. Another request was a popular piece Graham used to play, Toccata from the Suite Gothique by Leon Boëllmann, so we enjoyed this recital very much.

To round off the day we took a stroll through Princes Street Gardens, where the Ross Fountain, no longer frost-bound, played in sunshine with the rising moon sitting aligned with the very top - how could a Blipper resist!

Any resemblance to an ice-cream cone is purely intentional... .
