Jenners ( Edinburgh )

Today we had a trip to Edinburgh by train on holiday business . As we waited to cross Princes Street I took this photo of the well known Department store , Jenners, finally closed almost 2 years ago with plans to create a hotel.

Very sadly a fire in the building a week ago resulted in the death of a young fireman and we stopped to read some of the moving floral tributes attached to the barricade that has been erected.

The extra shows a view from the Rail Bridge as the train approached the Fife end of the bridge.
